Notice on the use and processing of personal data

Švajger Samo, s. p., (hereinafter: administrator) can use and process the user’s personal data acquired upon registration or during the login to the website in accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations (Personal Data Protection Act – ZVOP-1, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 94/07, and Regulation EU 2016/679 on data protection).


In accordance with ZVOP-1, the administrator can manage personal data, if the user has given special personal consent. Personal consent is an individual’s voluntary expression of will, in which he agrees that his personal data can be processed for a specific purpose. Consent is given based on information provided by the administrator. Personal consent can be given in writing, speech, or any other appropriate form.


On the website and all connected subpages, personal consent is considered as any user’s behavior with which he explicitly agrees to the valid and published general terms and conditions, confirmed with the completion of a form with the selection of on an empty box and by clicking “ACCEPT”/”SEND”.


Extent of processed personal data and purpose of collection

The administrator processes the following user’s personal data (collected through different forms), which he entered into one of the forms, such as: name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, user’s IP address.


The acquired personal data is used for the following purposes: personalized e-mails, offers, job vacancies, invoicing, invitation to events, customer support, contests, and to enhance user experiences on this website.


The processing of personal data means any operation or string of operations that is executed in regard with personal data, which is processed automatically or manually and intended for the inclusion into the personal data database, especially such as the collection, acquisition, entry, editing, saving, adaption or alteration, recalling, review, use, disclosure by transmission, notification, dissemination or other manner of making available, classification or linking, blocking, anonymization, deletion or destruction of data. The processing can be manual or automated (means of processing).


Consent to personal data processing

With the selection of an empty box and by clicking on “Confirm” or “Send”, the user accepts and agrees to the general conditions mentioned, and furthermore gives personal consent for the use and processing of personal data, necessary in accordance with personal data protection regulations. Based on this consent, the administrator can process this personal information for the purposes under point 2.


User’s right to demand termination of personal data processing

The user can at any time, in writing or any agreed form (via e-mail or mail), demand a permanent (erasure) or temporary termination of personal data, which is processed for the purposes of direct marketing. The administrator shall within 15 (fifteen) days take appropriate measures, which will prevent personal data to be used for direct marketing purposes, and within the next 5 (five) days, in writing or any agreed form (via e-mail), notify the user, who made such a request.


Personal Data Protection

The administrator will process the user’s personal data in accordance with requirements set out in personal data protection regulations (Personal Data Protection Act – ZVOP-1, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 94/07, and Regulation EU 2016/679 on data protection).


To protect personal data, the administrator will make use of organizational, technical and other appropriate procedures and measures to prevent its unauthorized erasure, change, loss or processing. If links to external (third party) website will be published on the website, that are not associated with, the administrator cannot be held liable for any responsibilities for the protection of data on such websites. Furthermore, the administrator does not accept any responsibility for errors, which are the result of providing incorrect or false data at registration on this website.


Duration of personal data storage

The submitted personal data will be stored and processed only until this should prove necessary for the purpose for which these were processed. After achievement of purpose for the procession, the administrator ensures to block access to the collected personal data and that upon request by a user these will be erased within the deadline foreseen under point 4.



Upon every visit, the website stores a so-called “cookie” on a visitor’s resp. user’s computer. Cookies are text files that are stored on a user’s computer and enable to comply statistics about the user’s website visits, his number of visits and his interest upon these visits. Cookies hold basic information about the user’s visit of a certain website (e. g., name of visited website on the world wide web), whereas contents of this cookie are stored on the user’s computer in a special directory. By double clicking on a file, we can acquire detailed information about the visited website, as well as the date and time of the visit.


Users can delete cookies, exclude them or use them under specific conditions, however, subsequently they will not be able to fully use all the functions of the website.


The administrator can connect the data provided by the user during registration with data saved in cookies. Furthermore, the administrator can use the data produced by cookies either separately or in combination with the personal data provided by the user for the purpose to assess the effectiveness of the website, to create reports about the website activity, for statistical data analyses, shopping habits analyses, to design direct marketing activities based on shopping habits, create additional offers connected with the usage of this website, and other direct marketing activities.


It shall be deemed that the user upon registration at has given consent to install a cookie and personal consent for the use and processing of personal and other data. This also extents to the possibility of data processing and connecting, derived from cookies, with the user’s personal data submitted for the purposes of direct marketing of services, products and other activity by Švajger Samo, s. p.
